Hoffman Estates

Todd Arthur Nelson, 40, 5241 Elliott Drive, Hoffman Estates, was arrested June 19 at Beverly and Shoe Factory roads and charged with indecent exposure. His court date is July 28.

Salvador R. Diaz, 26, 750 Salem Drive, Apt. 201, Hoffman Estates, was arrested around 12:10 a.m. June 19 on the 0-100 block of Maricopa Lane and charged with disorderly conduct after police accused him of peeping at a woman through her bedroom window. Reports said he was grabbed by a friend of the woman and held until police arrived. His court date is July 11.

Elisa Vega, 17, 2000 Runaway Bay, Palatine, was arrested June 20 and charged with retail theft from J.C. Penney Co. in Woodfield Mall. Her court date is July 8.

A 2007 Toyota SUV parked in a shopping mall lot on Golf Road was broken into and a GPS unit stolen between 1 and 4:12 p.m. June 20. The total loss was estimated at $700.

A house on the 4500 block of Huntington Boulevard was vandalized between June 21 and 23; damage was estimated at $50.

A sidewalk at Park Lane north of Newman Place was vandalized with graffiti on an unknown date but reported June 23.

Schaumburg

A business on the 1300 block of Woodfield Road was broken into between June 20-23 and more than $100,000 in gold and diamond jewels stolen.

There was no sign of forced entry.

A maroon 2007 Ford Taurus was stolen off the 2300 block of Pennview Lane between 5 and 8 p.m. June 23.
