District 54 Foundation triumphs at golf outing
The Schaumburg Township Elementary School Foundation, with the help of 150 golfers, raised $30,000 this month at its 11th annual golf outing.
The sold-out event June 10 was sponsored by Manzarado & Associates of Ameriprise Financial and held at the Poplar Creek Country Club in Hoffman Estates.
The money raised by this and all activities of the foundation is used to fund programs and scholarships for Schaumburg Township Elementary District 54 not covered by school budgets or tax dollars.
"The golf spirits were definitely with us as we were blessed with a beautiful day for golf," foundation Chairman Dennis P. Quinn said. "We extend many thanks to our loyal supporters for making this event possible."
The foundation is not-for-profit. For more information call (847) 352-0652 or visit www.d54foundation.com.
