Jabusch to head MCC's IT department
McHenry County College welcomes Diann Jabusch as the new assistant vice president of Information Technology. Jabusch replaces John Linehan, who was due to retire June 23.
Jabusch was the chief information officer for 11 years at Spoon River College in Canton. Prior to that, she worked for seven years as director of computer services for three broadcasting services at University of Illinois.
She earned her master of business in instructional technology and telecommunications from Western Illinois University and a bachelor of science in mathematics/computer science from the University of Illinois. She retired in 1997 from the Air National Guard after serving four years active duty in the U.S. Marine Corps and 16 years with the Guard. She lives in Algonquin with her husband, John. They have two adult daughters.
In addition to overseeing the day to day operations in the Information Technology Department at MCC, Jabusch will work with a team of project managers on the administrative system conversion, a major college-wide project to provide Web-based hub of services for students and staff.
"The new Campus Management system will include student and academic services, human resources, and financial data that will have a major impact on our ability to serve the college's constituents," she said.
