Way to bring down high cost of fuel

I worked 11 years for Amoco Oil. If I was a high-Republican in Illinois, I would ask all 1,100 gas stations in the state of Illinois to turn off the middle grade of gasoline, which would immediately leave a million gallons of gas for the oil companies to sell. Also ask them to start mass producing bio-diesel which has been used by Com Ed for the last 5 years in its trucks. With the extra oil left over they can mass produce more aviation fuel for the airlines. Which in turn would reduce their prices.
