Food pantry needs fish

Loaves & Fishes Community Pantry in Naperville currently has plenty of loaves, but no fishes. Supplies of canned tuna and salmon are depleted, and these commodities are too expensive in the current market for the organization to afford, according to Executive Director Charles McLimans. He said the only way these items will be made available at the pantry is if they are donated and he's asking the community to consider sharing if they have extra canned fish, or see a tuna or salmon on sale at the grocery store. Donations can be dropped off at 556 W. Fifth Avenue in Naperville from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on weekdays, and from noon to 2 p.m. on Sundays. For details, call (630) 355-3663 or visit loaves-fishes.org.
