Change your habits to be green
Everyone has something to say about global warming -- all over the country -- this new trend of "going green" is stirring up reactions across the nation, influencing what people think about the issue of our generation.
So what do we do about it? Change needs to start with the individual. Everybody is capable of adjusting their behavior to be environmentally-friendly. Turning off the lights, driving less, consuming less, keeping your tires inflated properly, turning off the water while brushing your teeth. We've all heard of these simple habits but why don't people actually do them? Besides benefiting the environment, think of the physical advantage and the money saved on bills and reduced consumption.
The reason why these habits are not executed falls into the same sort of ignorance that is held by drivers who block roads and driveways off of the street. They simply are not thinking about it.
We need not be "green-freaks" or "eco-terrorists" -- all that is needed is a little consciousness about the impact that mundane activities can have on our complex world. Keeping in mind simple habits and spreading the word about such tasks to friends and enemies alike will ensure that something can be done to slow the advancing changes.
