Hoffman Estates
Jose Eduardo Morales, 19, 210 Grissom Lane, Hoffman Estates, was arrested June 6 on the 1700 block of Queensbury Circle and charged with possession of marijuana with intent to deliver. His court date is July 10.
A 1998 Dodge Durango was broken into and an in-dash CD player and 10 CDs stolen overnight June 6-7 on the 600 block of Bode Road. The total loss was estimated at $550.
Mikin G. Patel, 17, 378 Oak Tree Court, Hoffman Estates, was arrested June 7 in a parking lot on the 1000 block of North Roselle Road and charged with consumption of alcohol by a minor and resisting a peace officer. His court date is July 11.
A 2006 Honda Civic was vandalized June 8 in a store lot on the 800 block of North Roselle Road. Damage was estimated at $300.
A 2006 Chrysler limousine was vandalized June 8 on the 4400 block of Trailside Court. Damage was estimated at $800.
Patricia Ann Carl, 23, 38 S. Elm St., Palatine, was arrested June 10 at Roselle and Golf roads and charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Her court date is July 18.
Ryan J. Leon, 24, 513 Robin Hood Drive, Streamwood, was arrested June 11 on the 2300 block of West Higgins Road and charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana. His court date is Aug. 7.
Palatine
A 2008 BMW was broken into and a GPS unit with mount and power cord stolen overnight June 9-10 in an apartment lot on the 1400 block of East Evergreen Drive. The total loss was estimated at $380.
A $1,000 men's black Trek bicycle and lock was stolen June 9 from the Metra depot, 137 W. Wood St.
Schaumburg
A dump truck and trailer, with five lawn mowers and four backpack blowers inside, were stolen June 5 from a lot at Woodfield Mall. The total loss was estimated at $87,600.
Two cars in a Woodfield Mall lot were burglarized June 7. A witness saw three men, about 17-19, and a 12-year-old boy take a car stereo out of a locked 1994 Toyota Camry. The stereo was worth about $160. A stereo was also taken from a locked 1996 Dodge Avenger nearby. That stereo was worth about $200. There was no sign of forced entry to either car.
Two Alex Rodriguez baseball cards, five Adrian Peterson football cards, two Albert Poulos baseball cards, and a Dan Marino/Peyton Manning autographed football card were stolen June 7 or 8 during the sports memorabilia show in the Renaissance Convention Center and Hotel on Thoreau Drive. The loss was estimated at $7,500.
Stephanie Stokes, 32, 440 N. Drake, Chicago, was arrested June 8 and charged with retail theft from Cool Waves in Woodfield Mall. Her court date is June 24. Police said there also was an arrest warrant for her out of North Riverside.
Timothy W. Jones, 17, 1236 Concord Lane, Schaumburg, was arrested June 9 on Carryville Lane and charged with battery after police said he knocked a male to the ground and punched him in the head. Jones' court date is July 9.
