Lisle village trustee resigns

Lisle Trustee Tom Frey will step down from his seat effective July 2, village officials said this week.

Frey, who has served on the village board since 2001, is in the final year of his second term. Officials said he is moving to Keokuk, Iowa.

Prior to being elected to the village board, Frey served on the Lisle Park District board from 1985 to 1994 and again from 1997 to 2001. Monday was his last village board meeting.
