Best to live by Ten Commandments
It seems to me that when this country was started, the people were into doing what was right, not what felt good. People dressed like ladies and gentlemen and acted like ladies and gentlemen and they treated each other with respect.
First of all, what does right mean? Take a look at the Ten Commandments that are now hidden in the closet. When doing the right thing, it makes you feel good. When you get up in the morning, and look at yourself in the mirror, you like what you see. And years later, you still like what you see.
Doing what "feels good" is a show of weakness. Every turn we make today we are faced with sex and a fast lifestyle of some kind. Replace all that with good examples from the guidelines of the Ten Commandments and see what happens. Sure sex is fun and it feels good, but done at the wrong time and in the wrong place only fills you with regret. You don't have to drink to laugh, and you don't have to have sex with every date, with anyone you meet, to have fun.
Put the Ten Commandments back up on every wall you can find, and I will bet we will have less crime of all kinds and we will soon have a caring world and happier people.
