Barrington

Two outside walls at AT&T, 430 E. Main St., were vandalized with graffiti June 5 or 6. A damage estimate was not available.

Jake R. Kozel, 20, 1189 S. Northwest Hwy., Barrington, was arrested June 6 at his home and charged with hosting an underage party and consumption of alcohol by a minor. Also charged with consumption of alcohol by a minor were: Meghan L. Zank, 19, 235 Fox Hunt Trail, Barrington; Bailey R. Rietz, 20, 245 Sandy Point Lane, Lake Zurich; Natalie A. Barton, 18, 1400 W. Alder, Hoffman Estates; Jessica A. Lee, 19, 220 Timber Ridge, Barrington; Carley A. Gallagher, 19, 23 Country Lane, Deer Park; and Kelly M. Schaudenecker, 20, 1217 E. Pratt Drive, Palatine, reports added. Their court date is July 2.

Bistriceana Vlad S., 25, 710 Fife Court, Inverness, was arrested at Ela and Palatine roads June 7 and charged with possession of marijuana. His court date is July 2.

Julia A. Bero, 19, 1831 Riverwoods Drive, Algonquin, Sarah A. Geishecker, 19, 940 Timberwood Lane, Algonquin and Arturo Ayala, 20, 1400 Commons Drive, Woodstock, were arrested June 8 at Route 14 and Willow and charged with consumption of alcohol by a minor. Their court date is June 25.

Four mailboxes on the 1500 and 1600 blocks of Banbury Road were smashed June 7. Damage estimates were not available.

Daniel Adam Kocolowski, 23, 1062 E. Carpenter Drive, Palatine, was arrested June 8 at Route 14 and Ela Road and charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. His court date is July 2.

Someone tried and failed to break into Primo Pizza, 630 S. Northwest Hwy., overnight June 8-9. A damage estimate was not available.

Air conditioning units at St. Anne Parish Center, 120 S. Ela St., were vandalized on an unknown date but reported June 9. Damage was estimated at $2,000.

Schaumburg

A business on the 1700 block of West Wise Road was vandalized overnight June 5-6. A damage estimate was not available.

Jorge Luis Hernandez, 19, Jose Noel Rivera, 17, and Ramsest Rivera, 18, all of 4726 Arbor Drive, Rolling Meadows, were arrested June 5 and charged with retail theft from JCPenney in Woodfield Mall. Ramsest also was charged with possession of a theft detection device remover. Their court date is July 9.

Police say a 19-year-old walked into an unlocked house on the 600 block of South Cambridge around 4 a.m. June 8, locked himself into a basement bathroom where he pulled down a towel rack and broke the closet doors when he fell into them. A resident of the home, an off-duty officer, handcuffed Timothy Leylek, 317 S. Carver Lane, Schaumburg, until police arrived. Leylek was charged with criminal trespass, criminal damage to property and unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor. His court date is July 2.
