Des Plaines

Gregory Nebraska Draughter, 23, 105 Dover Drive, Apt. 20, Des Plaines, was arrested June 6 and charged with felony retail theft from Sam's Club, 101 W. Oakton St. Police said security videotapes caught Draughter, an employee, stealing flat screen TVs - he is accused of stealing 12 flat screens between September and April, valued at about $9,543 altogether. His court date is June 13.

Alexander L. Delvalle, 17, 5356 Wright, Skokie, was arrested June 2 on the 1500 block of Everett Avenue and charged with minor consumption of alcohol, three counts of aggravated battery, resisting arrest and criminal damage to government property. Police said Delvalle struggled during the arrest, spit on two officers and kicked and broke a window in the squad car. He was transferred to another squad car, which was involved in an accident on Lee Street, when the squad hit a curb, skidded off the road, tipped on its side and slid into a utility pole. The officer and Delvalle were taken to Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, where Delvalle spit in an officer's face, police said. His court date is June 16.

Abraham Martinez, 20, 361 Ambleside, Des Plaines, and Ryan K. McNab, 18, 523 Dempster St., Apt. GS, Mount Prospect, were arrested June 5 on the 1100 block of South Elmhurst Road and charged with possession of marijuana. Their court date is July 11.

Neil Dinesh Thakkar, 17, 969 Beau Drive, Des Plaines, was arrested June 5 at Elmhurst Road and Dempster Street and charged with possession of marijuana. His court date is June 26.

Elk Grove Village

Ryan M. Sullivan, 19, 1071 Ridge Ave., Elk Grove Village, was arrested June 7 at Landmeier and Busse roads and charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. His court date is July 9.

Mount Prospect

Two front tires were stolen off a golf cart June 6-June 8 at the River Trails Park District golf course, 1500 E. Euclid Ave. The loss was estimated at $100.

Three laptop computers worth $3,000 altogether were stolen June 8 out of the trunk of a 1994 Infiniti on the 1900 block of Maya Lane. There was no sign of forced entry.

A laptop computer was stolen out of a 1991 Audi in a hotel lot on the 300 block of Algonquin Road between 3-8 a.m. June 8. The woman who owned the computer told police she left the car window slightly open because she had to leave her dog in the car since the hotel does not permit dogs in guest rooms. The loss, and a damaged in-dash stereo faceplate were valued at $1,000.

A man driving a pickup truck with lattice bars/grid walls attached to the bed was videotaped stealing three engine cores around 4:15 a.m. June 5 outside a garage at Smile Auto Sales, 2020 E. Euclid Ave. The theft was estimated at $150.

Prospect Heights

A man paid for a 2007 Hammer ATV with a check from a closed account May 29 at Route 12 Arctic Cat, 1306 E. Rand Road. The vehicle is valued at $4,317.

A bench was stolen from outside Secret Garden, 1612 N. Rand Road between May 18 and June 8. It was valued at $200.

Jewelry worth $8,700 was stolen out of a condominium on the 1200 block of Cove Drive overnight June 6-7. There was no sign of forced entry, reports added.

A 2005 Nissan Titan was broken into and a GPS unit stolen June 5 or 6 on the 700 block of West Willow Road. Loss was estimated at $500.
