Byrd's hypocritical tears for Kennedy
The recent performance on the floor of the U.S. Senate by Sen. Robert Byrd was absolutely breathtaking in its hypocrisy and audacity.
While weeping for "his dear, dear friend.. . ," one just had to wonder how much he wept for all those African-American men who were lynched when he was in his bed-sheet uniform with all of his KKK pals.
His dissembling was truly breathtaking and his gall just so astonishing!
