Medical office OK'd

The Buffalo Grove village board this week approved adding Partners in Obstetrics and Gynecology to the Town Center shopping area. The board was initially hesitant because the center was envisioned as a downtown area for the village. The plan never materialized, however. The board didn't want to put in a medical office building instead of a retail store, but the board agreed to the building when staff members said the addition would only bring the office space allotment to 15 percent . The percentage is in line with the other retail areas in the village. Dr. Brian Locker will be expanding his practice from the space he's subleasing from the Advocate Medical Group.
