Future Cats Cheerleading Camp: Register by Friday. 5-8 p.m. June 9 and 10, in the Fieldhouse at Libertyville High School, 708 W. Park Ave., Libertyville. Students in kindergarten through eighth grade learn the fundamentals of cheerleading. A fundraiser by the LHS Cheerleaders and Wildcat Cheerleader Parent Organization. Participating in camp allows the camper to walk in the Libertyville Days Parade on June 14. $60. Cheerleading openings: CCA teams will be formed at the end of May and practice starts in June. The CCA Titans competitive all-star cheerleading teams are open for the 2008-09 season to all girls entering kindergarten through 12th grade. Previous experience is welcome, but not required. The Titans maintain a no-cut policy for girls entering kindergarten through ninth grade, so everyone in that age group will be placed on a team. Mutual of Omaha Breakout! Swim Clinic: 8 a.m.-noon June 28, Birchwood Pool, 435 W. Illinois Ave., Palatine. The Greater Libertyville Soccer Association will offer summer camps conducted by the Eclipse Select Soccer Association Professional Staff for soccer players ages 7 to 14. Girls basketball camp: In the gym of Vernon Hills High School, 145 Lakeview Parkway, Vernon Hills Vernon Hills High School will offer Cougar Camp 2008 Girls Basketball Skills and Games Camp.
• Session I will be from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Thursdays, June 8 to 26, for ninth- through 12th-graders. The fee is $190.
• Session II be from 8 to 9:30 a.m. for third- through fifth-graders and from 9:30 to 11 a.m. for sixth- through eighth-graders, on Thursdays, July 7 to 17. The fee is $90.

STC-LS (Little Sluggers) is open to boys and girls ages 5 and 6; STC-1 is for ages 7-12; STC-2 is for ages 10-14 (10-12-year-old campers must have completed or be currently enrolled in STC-1, or play for a traveling team). Each camper will receive a pair of tickets to three White Sox games, a Training Center hat and a Training Center T-shirt.
