Wauconda police search for robber

Police are searching for an unidentified man who they say robbed a Wauconda Subway Monday afternoon. Police said a man about 5'9" tall in his 30's with a medium to heavy build wearing a white shirt, blue jeans, a baseball cap and glasses went into the restaurant around 12:30 p.m. and demanded money from the cashier, Wauconda police said. The man fled east on foot with an undetermined amount of money. Anyone with information is asked to call Wauconda police at (847) 526-2421.
