Bean's actions not backing words

U.S. Rep. Melissa Bean emailed me stating her support for border security. But I'm trying to figure out what she means.

In an e-mail she states, "I believe it is imperative that we secure our nation's borders, which is in the interests of our national security and essential to protecting our communities." She even is a co-sponsor of the SAVE act to provide real immigration reforms.

Meanwhile Speaker Nancy Pelosi refuses to allow the SAVE Act to the House floor for vote. The House can override her via a discharge petition, requiring a majority of House members to sign. However, Bean won't sign.

So if Bean says one thing and does another, what does that mean for voters? She's just a typical politician speaking out of both sides of her mouth.

Washington is vastly polluted by double-talkers and we don't need one more.

It's time to pass out one of the pink slips Americans so often receive, and send Melissa Bean back to Barrington.
