South East Association for Special Parks and Recreation, 4500 Belmont Road, Downers Grove, provides year-round recreation services for individuals with disabilities. It is an extension of the park districts of Clarendon Hills, Darien, Downers Grove, LaGrange, LaGrange Park, Lisle, Westmont, Westchester and Woodridge, and the villages of Indian Head Park and Western Springs. Walk and roll: SEASPAR hosts its eighth annual Walk and Roll-A-Thon from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday at Ebersold Park, 6000 Main St., Downers Grove. In case of inclement weather, the event will be held indoors at the Downers Grove Recreation Center, 4500 Belmont Road. Entry is free, but walkers and rollers should solicit pledges for the laps they plan to finish. Those who raise more than $50 will receive a souvenir T-shirt. Proceeds will help purchase a new 15-passenger minivan. A hot dog lunch will be served at the end of the event.

Golf classic: SEASPAR's sixth annual Summer Golf Classic will be at 1 p.m. July 25 at Village Greens Golf Course, 1525 75th St., Woodridge. The event will include 18 holes of golf, on-course contests, a boxes lunch, cart, use of the driving range and a buffet dinner.
