Naperville Central alumni, employee to be honored in Hall of Fame

Three Naperville Central alumni and a former employee who left their mark on the community are being inducted into the school's Hall of Fame.

Rick Hitchcock (1971), Marianne Lisson Kuhn (1973), and the late Alfred Rubin (1938) and Clyde Sundquist (employee from 1989-2007) will be honored with Alumni Recognition Awards today.

The inductees were chosen by a committee of students, staff, administrators and local alumni and will speak to students this morning.

"I hope they (students) take a step back and understand, even though commencement is in two weeks, this is the beginning of the journey not the end," said Bill Seiple, dean of students who helped start the award in 1996.

"They'll look and see as important and interesting as high school can be, it's really where they go from here."
