Prospect High to hold its concert
Prospect High School's Department of Fine and Performing Arts will present its Spring Jazz Concert at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, in the school theater, 801 W. Kensington Road, Mount Prospect.
The concert will feature Prospect's Jazz Ensemble I and II, the vocal jazz ensemble, Knight Voices and renowned jazz trombonist Steve Turre from the Saturday Night Live Band.

Elk Grove High School Choral Music Parent Foundation's annual plant sale will be from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday in the school's front lot, 500 W. Elk Grove Blvd., Elk Grove Village.
Elk Grove's fourth annual auto show will also be held from noon to 3 p.m. on the school grounds.
The plant sale will feature proven winter brand plants; specialty plants, including impatiens, zinnias and English ivy; geraniums; peppers; and tomato. Hanging baskets are also available.
All proceeds will be applied to transportation costs for the choral department's Memphis trip in March 2009.

Group to discuss bullying, teasing
Bullying and Teasing is the topic of the next Grandparents as Caregivers meeting from 7 to 8:30 p.m. May 8 at Euclid School, 1211 N. Wheeling Road, Mount Prospect.
Elise Lagattuta, social worker intern, will discuss the serious nature of bullying and teasing and how it affects children.
