Just what kind of change, Obama?
Sen. Barack Obama keeps calling for change, but I have yet to hear how or what. Like it or not, he is also part of the system in Washington, D.C. If he is and has been so great, why didn't he help change Illinois politics, controlled by his Democratic Party? He helped create the mess we are now in.
Sen. Obama seems to think he can go to Washington and bring about change. This thinking just shows how naïve he is to politics. Change will not occur regardless of outside pressure unless there is willingness for change within.
What we need in the White House is experience, not someone that is good with oratorical rhetoric and dances around the questions. He won't answer questions about his past but will go and develop a speech and present it to the public. Everyone wants change, me included.
Do we want a president who talks about change, or do we want someone who has the experience and honesty to implement change? He didn't help change Chicago or the state of Illinois politics, what makes us believe he will change the United States of America?
I would sleep better knowing that there is someone in the White House who knows how and what and has the courage, without input from his minister, to go forth.
