Garden club to hold plant sale May 10

Bull Valley Garden Club Plant Sale will hold its annual sale from 8 a.m. to noon May 10 on the lawn of the Old Courthouse on the Woodstock Square.

Garden Club members will pot up a choice selection of unique native species, herbs and perennials from their gardens at reasonable prices. A full range of professionally grown plants from nurseryman Jim Sieck of Prairie Hill Perennials also will be available for purchase.

Joy Kottra, chairwoman of the Juniors Committee, will provide children an opportunity to make a floral-themed Mothers Day gift.

Raffle tickets will be available at the plant sale or from club members, and one of the items will be a pot planted with flowers.
