Vex Theatre to perform Oscar Wilde play
Vex Theatre Company has announced its new production of "Lady Windermere's Fan" by Oscar Wilde at the Elgin Art Showcase, 164 Division St. in Elgin. Production dates are Fridays- Sundays, through April 27.
"Lady Windermere's Fan," Oscar Wilde's first great theatrical success, contains themes of scandal, trust and redemption that still reverberate with audiences today. Will she have faith in the man she loves, or be driven into the arms of another man? In a society obsessed with scandal, one false step could cost her everything.
