German shepherd club sets Correctional

The German Shepherd Dog Training Club of Chicago will hold its next Correctional April 25. The doors open at 6:30 p.m. and judging starts at 7 p.m. Pre-entry fee is $5 plus $3 for a second entry of same dog. E-mail and gate entries are $6 plus $4 for second entry of the same dog. Rand Park events: Rand Park Dog Training Club's Obedience and Rally Trials will be held April 26 and 27 at Sports Zone, 1945 Cornell Ave., Melrose Park. Besides the judging, food and a raffle will be available.

Next on the club's agenda will be the Correction Clinic on May 3 at For Your Canine, 4233 United Parkway, Schiller Park. Judging begins at 11:30 a.m. with no walk-ins after 1 p.m. The pre-entry fee is $7 plus $6 for a second entry of the same dog. Gate entry is $8 and $7. New classes: Leash and Collar Dog Training has a new Puppy class starting at 6:30 p.m., Basic Obedience at 7:45 p.m. and Rally at 8:45 p.m. on April 28. 2008 MS Walk: Helping Hounds of Greyhounds will once again be a part of the MS (Multiple Sclerosis) Walk to raise funds to help these victims and their families plus public and professional education and research.
