Help needed to bag meals for starving kids
St. Mark Lutheran Center, 200 S. Wille, Mount Prospect, is partnering with the Feed My Starving Children organization to bag meals for starving children worldwide. The goal is to bag a half million meals over the course of five days.
The food, a dry mixture of grains, will be bagged at the St. Mark Center in Mount Prospect, Wednesday through April 20.
The shifts will be two hours long and will start at 9:30 a.m. until 8:30 p.m. and needs 120 people per shift.
Call (847) 253-0631 to sign up or you can contact Laura Erbe at laura@theerbes.com. The minimum age group for children is about fourth grade. Limited numbers of younger children are allowed but there must be a one parent per child ratio.
