Bolingbrook police look for clues in robbery
Bolingbrook police are searching for a man who robbed a U.S. Cellular retail store at 286 S. Weber Road Saturday evening.
Employees told police the man entered the store around 6:30 p.m., handed them a note implying he had a gun and demanded money from the register. He took the cash and fled west on foot.
The suspect is described as about 20 to 30 years old, standing about 5 feet 11 inches tall with a thin build and wearing a dark blue or black zip-up fleece covering his face, sunglasses and a tan knit hat with white-and-black stripes.
He may have used a blue, four-door vehicle to escape.
CrimeStoppers of Bolingbrook is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for tips that lead to an arrest and formal charges.
