Personal care firm makes acquisition

CRYSTAL LAKE -- AptarGroup Inc. announced Monday it acquired CCL Industries Inc.'s ABS "Bag-on-Valve" business for about $9.4 million. The cash acquisition provides the company with additional capacity in a growing niche in the beauty and home segment. AptarGroup is a global supplier of a broad range of dispensing systems for the personal care, fragrance/cosmetic and other markets.
