Public employees pensions enviable

I'm getting sick of all the whining over the pensions for people on the public payroll.

I would love to have retired at 80 percent of my last paycheck. Instead, my "generous" company pension equals about 3 percent.

That, plus Social Security, adds up to about 20 percent total.

Now it appears that I, and millions like me, will have to dig into our pockets and make up the shortage in the public plan.

Incidentally, most private plans don't include medical insurance. Mine runs me over $300 a month.

I have to stop writing, the tears I'm shedding for your sad plight are blurring my vision.
