Words of pedophile's lawyer repugnant
For several days now we have read articles about the Rev. Fred Lenczycki, and whether he should remain committed to a state facility.
The psychologist for Lenczyki states that his tests showed that the priest is "most attracted to young women, not boys." Does anyone else find this utterly repugnant? This is a reason for the man to be paroled?
It is well known that there is a very high rate of recidivism among pedophiles and this priest admits to abusing as many as 30 boys in three states. The actual number is more likely much higher.
I applaud the state for recognizing Lenczycki may be too dangerous to be set free and I hope he remains locked up.
By the way, the parishioners of the Joliet Diocese may want to ask their bishop how much is being paid for Lenczycki's defense and remember it is their money being spent on someone who violated their trust.
