Fire damages St. Charles warehouse
A fire caused $200,000 in damage to a chemical-manufacturing plant in St. Charles late Wednesday, officials said. Employees were evacuated and no one was injured. The fire was reported at 11:03 p.m. at Sun Chemical, 2445 Production Drive. Firefighters arrived to find the blaze in a high-rack storage area of a warehouse.
