Glen Ellyn's Sleckman leaves 'Survivor"

Kathy Sleckman of Glen Ellyn had a bad experience with "Survivor: Micronesia," and so did millions of fans. CBS.com's message board crackled with the complaints of viewers angry they missed this week's episode because the network pulled a late-breaking switcheroo. CBS aired it one day early to show NCAA basketball last night.

Those who tried to watch the video on CBS' site were out of luck too, as the video wouldn't play.

Published reports say a tearful Sleckman, a member of the Airai tribe, voluntarily asked to leave the show, since life on the island was taking a physical and emotional toll on her. After talking to her, host Jeff Probst granted her request. That leaves Jason Siska of Fox River Grove as the only remaining contestant from the Chicago suburbs on the show.

The Malakal tribe won one challenge and lost the other, causing them to have to send one member packing. Some of the women tried to plan a coup to oust Ozzy, who has been the team's champion in the challenges. In the end, though, Ozzy survived and the tribe voted Tracy off.

The NCAA games continue on CBS next week and Survivor returns April 3.
