Make library spring break destination

Roselle Public Library offers a number of programs during spring break.

Events such as musical storytimes, crafts and a game day will celebrate spring.

"Marvelous Music" is a drop-in storytime program for all ages featuring music as the theme for stories, verse, and songs. It meets at 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Youth Services Storytime Room. Parents or an adult caregiver must accompany children under 8 years old.

"Making Musical Things," a drop-in craft day, will be from 9:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the Roselle Public Library Youth Services Storytime Room. Budding musicians will create a musical instrument of their own to play at home. A parent or adult caregiver must supervise children under 8 years old.

"Play with Music -- Game Day" from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday offers an afternoon of gaming for children in third through sixth grades. Dance along with Dance Dance Revolution, play some tunes with Guitar Hero, or become a human game piece on a modified chessboard. Registration is required.
