Sagent launches Cefazolin injection

SCHAUMBURG -- Sagent Pharmaceuticals Inc., a privately-held specialty pharmaceutical company, Thursday launched Cefazolin for injection, an antibiotic used to treat serious infections. The launch of Cefazolin for injection follows Sagent's December introduction of the first full-line of latex-free, multi-source, pre-filled, ready-to-use adenosine syringes. Sagent will begin marketing and shipping Cefazolin immediately.
