Politicians don't trust gun control

If the strict measures of gun control are working in Illinois, then why do we taxpayers fund Mayor Daley's, Gov. Blagojevich, and other politicians police protection?

If their measures are working, they should have the same opportunities as the general public to experience their policy firsthand.
