Motorola invests in mobile TV

SCHAUMBURG -- Motorola Inc. Monday announced an investment in Quantum SPA, a provider of portable media mobility players. Financial terms of the investment were not disclosed. Quantum is a developer of DVB-H mobile TV media players and a mobile TV software engine that meets emerging standards. These products allow users access to live TV, on-demand video and shows saved on a digital video recorder.
