New York Times deserves criticism
After reading the Feb. 22 Associated Press article on John McCain, I went to the New York Times Web site and was glad to see the number of people who wrote and objected to its unsubstantiated article about Mr. McCain's honor and integrity.
Times Executive Editor Bill Keller's comment that he publishes stories when they are ready? It seems funny that it took eight years for a story about an U.S. Senator to be ready and only after he was in a race for the presidency. These types of allegations can be placed against almost all of our politicians but editors should be concentrating on their political positions and not their lives. Then the American public can make an informed decision at the poling places.
