Memo to Spring: Please hurry
"Winter Woe"
I look out of the window
At the dismal dark and plain
I sigh and say to myself
It's winter time again
I'd much rather have
A warm, sunny day
When the smiling sunshine
Comes out to play
Oh! How I wish
This darkness would go
And gladly take with it
The cold and the snow!
The sun seldom shines
On these dark days so dreary
When I feel so alone
When I feel so weary
So I'll look to the sky
And my heart will sing
When winter is leaving
To make way for spring!
