Devils move atop East
Patrik Elias scored 4:02 into overtime, lifting the host New Jersey Devils into first place in the Eastern Conference with a 2-1 victory over the lowly Tampa Bay Lightning on Friday night.
Parise gave the Devils a 1-0 lead in the first period, and Michel Ouellet tied it in the second for Tampa Bay, the last-place team in the East.

Thrashers 3, Wild 2 (SO): Erik Christensen scored the only goal in the shootout, Johan Hedberg made 37 saves, and host Atlanta snapped an eight-game losing streak by beating Minnesota.
