Ty Warner wins trademark suit

WESTMONT -- The 7th Circuit Court of Appeals recently affirmed a jury's decision in favor of Ty Warner on a trademark infringement claim and reinstated a damage award of $713,000, according to the Westmont-based maker of Beanie Babies. Ty sued California-based Softbelly for its sales of "Screenie Beanies."
