Nominate exceptional police, fire personnel

Citizens Appreciate Public Safety is asking residents to nominate Naperville police and fire employees who have provided exceptional service during the past year.

The group, called CAPS, will have its annual police recognition dinner to honor employees May 9 at Meson Sabika.

The recognition dinner for fire department honorees will be in October.

Nominations for this year's police awards must be submitted by March 31.

To nominate someone, write a letter that includes the name of the nominee and your reason for nominating them. Also include your name, address and phone number so a member of the CAPS board can contact you.

Send the completed letter to Citizens Appreciate Public Safety, c/o Jerry Feldott, 1029 E. Benton Ave., Naperville, 60540.
