The briefs: Fox Lake fireworks test
Fox Lake fireworks test:
The Fox Lake Fireworks Committee has arranged for a test fireworks display at 8 p.m. Wednesday. It will take place from a 3-acre site on Rollins Road, near the Northwest Water Reclamation District plant. The test is to determine the best viewing areas for the fireworks celebration and whether a new location should be found, said committee chairman Glenn Close. People with questions or who wish to review the event can check out the committee's Web site, www.foxlakefireworks.com. The committee will host the 2008 fireworks celebration on July 5. The test fire will be done at no charge to the village.
