American Imaging safety program

DEERFIELD -- American Imaging Management, a subsidiary of WellPoint Inc. and a radiology benefit management company, Thursday introduced an enhanced patient safety program to increase awareness of radiation dose associated with advanced imaging procedures, such as computed tomography (or CT) scans and positron emission tomography (PET) scans. AIM's new program aims to increase awareness among physicians and their patients of radiation doses.
