Predators 5, Oilers 4: Scott Nichol and J.P. Dumont each scored a goal and added a pair of assists as Nashville edged visiting Edmonton.
Dumont scored the winner at 18:05 of the third period when he skated around the net and backhanded a shot past Mathieu Garon.
