Attack problem at source -- the ammo

I read today a bit about the company that sold equipment to the person who did the shooting at NIU. In it, the owner states he sold this person two magazines that hold 33 rounds each.

What does anyone who is not a police officer need with magazines of that capacity? A six-round clip is more than sufficient for civilian use.

While it is unlikely that a cry for banning guns would fly, it seems logical to me that a ban on magazines over six rounds for civilian use is appropriate.
