Fete to benefit Omni services

La Fete Violette, a Night of Celebration to benefit OMNI Youth Services, will take place at 7 p.m. March 1 at the Renaissance Schaumburg Hotel and Convention Center.

The evening will begin with cocktails and passed hors d'oeuvres as guests review the display of silent auction items. Following a three-course gourmet dinner, live auction and raffle prize drawing, guests will enjoy a dessert bar and entertainment by Vocal Illusionist Lynn Trefzger.

Trefzger has appeared on Star Search and performed with such artists as Ray Romano, Jeff Foxworthy, Tim McGraw and Faith Hill.

The raffle will feature a grand prize seven-day luxury vacation for two at the Hyatt Pinion Point resort in Sedona, Ariz., along with round-trip main cabin airfare donated by American Airlines.

Dress for the event is black-tie optional.

Since 1972, OMNI Youth Services has provided counseling and prevention services with a focus on serving young people in overlooked and underserved communities. OMNI's experiential approach supports learning through doing and the development of skills young people can use for a lifetime.
