American citizens getting squeezed

In regards to Ruben Navarrette's article(Feb. 6), "No entitlement to a bailout from a bad gamble on mortgages."

How predictable it is that Ruben would get behind the pro-immigration candidate, John McCain. Mr. Navarratte, it is not a matter of "entitlement."

A large part of what has caused this problem for taxpaying, law-abiding citizens is the change of their pay and benefit levels(due to more workers being available for fewer jobs) or a total loss of employment, period.

Jobs are leaving America like never before and then what is left, taxpaying citizens have to compete with the over-influx of immigrants legal or not.

To add to this, these non-taxpaying workers also over-whelm our public school systems and medical systems, adding to the burden for taxpaying citizens.

Now, Mr. Navarrette, I want you to tell me, who the actual group of people is who feel entitled?
