Relay For Life kickoff Tuesday

The American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Mount Prospect kickoff celebration will be at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Prospect High School, 801 W. Kensington Road, Mount Prospect.

Anyone who wishes to form a team, volunteer to help with planning the event, or wants to hear more about this year's highlights is encouraged to attend. Refreshments will be served.

Relay For Life is an overnight event that celebrates cancer survivors while honoring those in the community who lost their battle with cancer. Teams raise funds to fight cancer. Relay For Life of Mount Prospect will be held from 6 p.m. May 16 to 6 a.m. May 17 at Prospect High School.
