Man pinned by vehicle dies

A 22-year-old Lakemoor man is dead after being crushed by the vehicle he was working on Monday evening, officials said. Justin Kaskaddon died at his residence on the 32000 block of Pilgrim Court around 5:30 p.m. Monday, Lake County Coroner Dr. Richard Keller said. Kaskaddon was working under the vehicle, which was held up by a jack, when the jack slipped and he became pinned underneath the vehicle, Keller said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
