Grayslake C. 61, Prairie Ridge 38
Grayslake Central's boys basketball team has received balanced scoring all season.
Thursday night was no exception.
Mike Davis led four players in double figures with 19 points, as the Rams defeated visiting Prairie Ridge 61-38 in a Fox Valley Conference Fox Division makeup.
Grayslake Central (15-5, 3-1) also got 12 points apiece from Mike Brumm and Alex Anderson, while Andrew Sipes chipped in 10.
The Rams led 12-8 after one quarter and just 16-9 at halftime, but then outscored the Wolves 21-10 in the third quarter.
Ben Rippel had 16 points for Prairie Ridge.
Johnsburg 65, Grayslake N. 62: The Fox Valley Fox Division game was tied 44-44 after three quarters, but the visiting Skyhawks prevailed thanks in part to Mike Dixon's 10 points in the fourth.
C.J. Fiedorowicz and fellow sophomore Dixon led Johnsburg with 25 and 22 points, respectively.
Grayslake North (5-14, 0-4) received 19 points from Clay Henricksen. Brandon Schroth had 10.
Girls basketball
Warren 57, Stevenson 33: Sarah Boothe had 22 points and 11 rebounds, as the visiting Blue Devils completed their third straight undefeated season in the North Suburban Lake Division.
Warren (25-2, 12-0) will play Grant at 7 p.m. Saturday in the NSC championship game.
Shana Shepherd added 13 points for Warren, while Lory Shaw had 11 points and 8 rebounds. Joree Green dished out 5 assists.
Stevenson (11-19, 5-7) was led in scoring by Kayla Fisher and Anna Morrissey, each of whom tallied 9 points. Michelle O'Brien grabbed 7 rebounds.
Antioch 53, Libertyville 51: Andi Potkonjak had 23 points (two 3-pointers), 5 steals and 3 assists for the Sequoits in the North Suburban Conference crossover.
Antioch (13-13), which has won five of its last seven, received 8 rebounds from Brittany Deem and 6 from Katie Budd.
Ali Haws scored a career-high 25 points for Libertyville (11-16).
Grayslake C. 59, Prairie Ridge 54: Rachel Culp had 18 points for the Rams, who stretched their winning streak to a season-best three games.
Megan LeBaron added 12 for Grayslake Central (8-18, 4-5) in the Fox Valley Conference Fox Division contest.
Johnsburg 63, Grayslake N. 51: Michelle McDonald poured in 29 points for the host Skyhawks.
Grayslake North was led by Elizabeth Phillips with 19 points, 9 rebounds, 4 blocks and 2 steals.
Women's basketball
Lake County 62, McHenry County 48: Tiffany Lehner hit for a game high 29 points for College of Lake County.
The Lancers (15-5, 7-1 Skyway Conference) also received 14 points from Alyssa Wilson and 9 rebounds from Lauren Liles.
Men's basketball
Lake County, 79, McHenry County 78: College of Lake County rallied from a 42-36 halftime deficit.
Luse Mundadi led the Lancers (10-12, 4-4 Skyway Conference) with a game-high 25 points. Julian Jones and Tim Bryant added 17 and 16, respectively. Matt Mulvaney played key defense down the stretch.
