Coskata unveils ethanol plans

WARRENVILLE -- Coskata Inc. on Wednesday announced an alliance with ICM Inc. to design and construct a commercial ethanol plant using Warrenville-based Coskata's biological fermentation technology. ICM is an ethanol plant design, engineering and support firm. The first Coskata plant, expected to open in 2010, will be the staging ground for the world's first mass-produced ethanol of its type, the firm said. Coskata is a biology-based renewable energy company.
