Great skiing to be had at Arrowhead

When Arrowhead Golf Course in Wheaton was being overhauled with a grand new chalet, cross-country skiers had to use a trailer to go skiing.

Now with a wonderful facility, the Wheaton Park District is skiing again this year better than ever. With grooming of the trails by a conscientious staff, rentals, lessons and a much better place to eat at, this is really a destination for all us suburban skiers.

Although the ski shop is small, the staff is doing all they can to make your ski enjoyable.

With planned events and perhaps a citizen race or two, the Wheaton Park District is leading the suburban way for how to use an otherwise snow covered field (the golf course) in the winter!

Go out and enjoy Arrowhead.

And make sure you tell the staff how much you appreciate them. Then go out and tell the Wheaton Park District that they are doing a great job!
